I am a UK based actor and model, and I wish to develop my talents into a career in Bollywood. I am therefore writing to you regarding casting for acting and modelling. I am a self motivated and reliable individual who is polite, independent and can adapt well to new situations. I have excellent communication skills and can work well under pressure. I enjoy taking pride in my appearance, and have a keen interest in dancing, modelling and acting. I am looking for a career within acting and modelling that will challenge me to the best of my abilities.
Experience
:
I have recently graduated, and now envisage myself developing a career within the entertainment industry. I have gained valuable Modelling experience modelling for a few local agencies. In addition I have also gained training in Bollywood dancing by local academies (Desi Masti & Nupur Arts). Finally, my most recent experience involves acting in a trilogy of short films titled ‘The Lost Rose Trilogy’, and acting for a short student film titled ‘Honour’. I also have brief acting experience which I have developed during school, however now wish to expand my talents further in order to develop a career in acting (please see below for few examples of my experience).
My most fundamental experience is with Asian Rain Modelling Agency, Leicester, with who I worked as a model for local retail stores promoting their clothes and shoes, this role involved;
· Walking gracefully and elegantly
· Displaying different types of clothing with style and easing to their best advantage
· Contributing ideas for creating dance routines
·Teamwork
During my work with Abbey Primary School, I was given the responsibility of organising a stage performance for their Good Values Club in Leicester. This role involved, Choreographing dance routines and the whole performance for a build up to the show to encourage people to give up drinking, smoking and taking drugs. Further to this, whilst studying at Gateway College I was also part of the End of Term Fashion Show. I have also studied Textiles at As Level at college, this subject involved;
· Designing, making and modelling outfits at Fashion shows
· Dancing Beaumont Leys School, Fashion Show, Leicester.
I also studied Textiles at GCSE level, where the course involved creating garments at a professional level and again modelling my outfits at the school fashion show for which we were graded (I was selected to take a photo for a local Newspaper).

I am a UK based actress, having the abiliy to speak a few languages would enable me to carry out a variety of roles. I can speak fluent, english, gujrati, and hindi, and basic french and spanish as studied at GCSE and NVQ level. I believe this would assist me to offer the industry a range of characters. I love dancing and have performed at many shows aswell as fashion shows. I can horse-ride, swim, dance, play tennis, badminton and also bike ride, having these additional skills would assist me in different activities required from me.
